Information: Sarah A. King was born in W. Va., Jan. 7, 1837 and died at the home of her daughter, March 22, 1916, aged 79 yrs, 2 mos. 15 days.  In 1867 she married James Kerwood who preceded her to the Great Beyond 13 years ago.  To his union was born 8 children, four of whom died in infancy, leaving to mourn their loss;  Mrs. Chapman Hill of Racine, Ohio, Elijah Kerwod of Pittsburg, Pa., Holly and Earl Kerwood of Cottageville, W. Va.;  twelve grandchildren, two brothers, John and Frank King of Cottageville, W. Va., and a host of relatives and friends.  She was a faithful Christian ever since the early age of 10 years. She joined the U. B. church at Antioch.  There she lived a faithful member until she came to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chapman Hill, where she had her membership transferred to Plain View U. B. Church.  She has been a faithful mother, wife and friend and her loss is felt greatly.   Mrs. Sarah Kerwood, age 79, widow of the late James Kerwood, who resided on Cow Run, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Hill, who lives near Racine, Wednesday.  The remains will be interred at New Caromel, Ohio, today.  Three sons, one daughter and two brothers survive.
