Information: Raymond Marshall Kerwood, 83, of Ravenswood, died at his home, October 27, following an extended illness.  He was a son of the late Early and Margaret Thomas Kerwood.  He was a World War II Navy veteran.  He was a retired maintenance assistant supervisor at Vandium after 20 years of service, and 10 years' service with Buckeye Steel in Columbus, OH.  He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Ripley and the Ripley Lions Club.  Surviving:  his wife, Dorcie Workman Kerwood; one son, Robert of Columbus, OH; two step-daughters, Teresa Waldeck of Ravenswood and Bonnie Casto of Paden City, WV; one step-son, George Workman of Daytona, FL; and one brother, John Kerwood of Cottageville.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Baker Kerwood; one brother, Dennis Kerwood; and one sister, Inal Bugg.  Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday October 31 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Ripley, with Rev. Hubert Groves officiating.  Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, and one hour prior to the service.
