Information: Sunday night Mrs. J. R. Kerwood, at the age of 50, yielded to the ravages of tuberculosis, which she had contracted in nursing her son, Clyde, during his long illness.  She was a daughter of the late D. D. Rhodes, is survived by a large family of brothers and sisters and the bereaved husband.  She was a model of industry, a life-long and consistent member of the U. B. Church and gave her life in the vain endeavor to save her only son.     Mr. John Rhodes, who died Nov. 10, and Mrs. Kerwood were children of brothers and Tuesday forenoon their interment at Oak Hill was the occasion of a double funeral, the second in the history of the cemetery, and after a sermon by Rev. J. W. Martin their bodies were lowered into mother earth to await the sound of the last trumpet.    OBITUARY - Mrs. Ollie Kerwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Rhodes, was born near Ripley, Jan. 27, 1863.  Was married in the year of 1887 to J. R. Kerwood.  To them was born one son--Clyde--who departed this life Jan 31, 1912.   (Tribute follows)   W. A. R.
