Information: Loraine Kerwood, 68, of Ripley, died Sunday in Charleston Memorial Hospital after a long illness.  She was born Feb. 17, 1913, at Ripley, the daughter of Charles Baker and Edith Sayre Baker Wilson.  After the death of her father in 1921, she made her home with her maternal grandparetns, Oscar and Eliza Jane Sayre.  She married Raymond M. Kerwood, July 9, 1932.  She had been an active member of the church for over 40 years and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Ripley, charter member of Calvary United Methodist Women and a member of the Calvary choir, veteran member of the Rebekah Lodges of W. Va., at the time of her death, a member of Rebekah Lodge Paradise No. 19, Ripley, and was a District Deputy for three years in that organization. In 1966 she was chosen as state Rebekah Queen of West Virginia.  Mrs. Kerwood was an honor graduate of Union District High School at Cottageville and an employee of O. J. Morrison's in Ripley for several years.      Surviving:  husband, Raymond M. Kerwood; one son, Dr. Raymond V. Kerwood of Flagstaff, Arizona; one grandson, James R. Kerwood of Tucson, Arizona; one sister, Wynema E. Donohue of Columbus, Ohio.  Services will be held today (Wednesday) 2 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, Ripley, with the Rev. William Eaton officiating.  Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery.  Friends may call at Casto Funeral Home, Evans.  The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
