  <p>Information: Mildred Kerns, 75, of Leroy WV, died Thursday, December 5, 2002, at the Ravenswood Care Center following a long illness.  She was born Januray 11, 1927, in Roane County, daughter of the late Willie Ray and Mary Erma Guthrie Miller.  She was retired with 30 years of service with the Kellwood Company of Spencer WV.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion Church.  She is survived by three step-sons, Clayton Kerns of Sandyville, John Larry Kerns of Delaware, and Don Snyder of Leroy; seven step-daughters, Una Belle Waskey, Phyllis Grady and Dorothy Ohse, all of Sandyville, Georgia Burton, Ruth Kerns and Joyce Coon, all of Ripley, and Mary Casto of Leroy; four brothers, Offie Wayne Miller of Leroy, Henry Miller of Ripley, Billy Miller of Spencer, and Russell Miller of Cheifland FL; one sister, Rachel Johnson of Ripley; 34 step-grandchildren; 56 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Marshall Rhodes and Ace John Kerns; three brothers, Harold, Elmer, and Delbert Charles Miller; three sisters, Hazel Seaman, Thelma Harrison, and Maggie Viola Miller; and two great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 7, at Millcreek Baptist Church, with Pastor Bob Keen and Darrell Tackett officiating.  Burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Arrangements by Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home of Ripley.</p>
