  <p>Information: Hobert D. Kerna, 78, of Brimfield, Ohio, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1989 at home.  He was born Jan. 6, 1911, at Ripley, son of John and Leota (Johns) Kerns.  He retired in 1957 after 25 years from Goodyear Tire and Rubber.  Surviving:  wife, Bernice (Case) Kerns; sons, Darrell (Bill) of Brimfield, Ohio, Keith of Ripley, W. Va., Jack of Greenville, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Dave (Debbie) Wilson of Lancaster, Ohio, Mrs. Howard (Dorma) Skinner of Gay, W. Va, Mrs. John (Linda) Jones of Lancaster, Ohio; stepson, Bob Lloyd, Kent, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother, Kermit of Belpre, Ohio; sisters, Orma Randolph and Mrs. Clyde (Freda) Warner, both of Charleston.  He was preceded in death by sons, Donald and Fredrick, and one grandson.  Services were held at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna, Ohio.  Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Brimfield, Ohio.</p>
