Information: Dorothy Kerns, 79 of Charleston, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 1989, in Community Hospital, South Charleston, following an extended illness.  She was a retired restaurant employee.  She is survived by one sister, Donzella Lore of Evans.  Graveside services were Thursday at Pleasant View Cemetery, near Ravenswood, with the Rev. Melvin Conley officiating.  Casto Funeral Home, Evans, was in charge.
