Information: Joseph Delmar Alexander, 77, of Ravenswood died Friday in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after an apparent heart attack. Born in Sherman, he was retired from Ritchie Hardware Co., and the Home Service Co. He was a Protestant. Surviving: wife, Jessie Safreed Alexander, brother, Dale of Sherman. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.
