Information: William Dudley Keenan, the eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Keenan of Huntington, while playing with some children across the street from his home shortly before noon Wednesday, sucked a small wooden whistle, the kind to which small balloons are attached, into his windpipe and strangled to death in a few minutes. Accompanied by the parents, Mrs. H. C. Starcher, Miss Velma Crow, H. F. Pfost, and J. E. Keenan, who went to Huntington upon receipt of the sad news, and other friends, the remains were brought to Ripley Thursday evening and taken to the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Crow. The funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Epworth Church, Rev. J. L. West, the pastor, and Presiding Elder W. L. Reid, will officiate. The remains will be interred in Pine Hill Cemetery beside those of the baby sister who died of Bright's disease only a few weeks ago. (McIntyre)
