Information: Grovener Evert Keenan, 91, of Rt. 1, Rockport, died in Worthington Manor Health Care Center, Parkersburg, Tuesday evening, following a long illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late John and Ida Miller Keenan.  He was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church on Gihon Road, was a Navy veteran of World War I, was retired from the State Department of Highways as a night watchman, previously had worked at Miller Sunoco Station and before that at the American Viscose.  He is survived by his wife, Vera Morris Robinson Keenan; one stepdaughter, Eva Ruth Houck of Rockport; one brother, Andy Keenan of Parkersburg; one sister, Nellie Hudson of Williamstown; 10 step-grandchildren and a number of step-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today (Saturday) at the Evangelical Methodist Church on Gihon Road.  Burial will be in Big Tygart Cemetery.  Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, is in charge of arrangements.
