  <p>Information: Josephine Kay, 78, of Akron OH, went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2002, after a long illness.  She was born January 2, 1924, at Cottageville, to the late Dennis and Beatrice Anderson Durst.  She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Molly, Roy and Debbie and Russell and Paula; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of Akron; sisters, Helen Braden of Cottageville and Joan Burst of Columbus OH; brother, Dwaine of Pomeroy OH.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Darsel W. Kay; two sisters, and four brothers.  Services were held September 3, 2002 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home with Pastor John Hray officiating.  Interment was held at Northlawn Memorial Garden near Cleveland.</p>
