  <p>Information: Everett George Kay, son of John M. and Cassie (Thomas) Kay, was born March 12, 1906.  He departed from this life September 9, 1968 at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 27 days.  He was united in marriage to Ina Barnette on July 7, 1928.  To this union was born seven children, of which one son, Kenneth, preceded him in death.  He leaves his wife, Ina; two sons, Garry and Larry of Ripley; four daughters, Viola Ransom, Ripley, Lucille Hinzman, Sandyville, Luella Spears, Sandyville, Violet Matheny, Ripley; seven grandchildren and one sister, Rebecca Weitzel of Akron, Ohio, as well as many relatives and friends.  He was born and spent most of his life in Jackson County.  He was a retired State Road foreman and farmer.  He has passed this way, thy daily stage of duty run, but the memory still will linger, after he has gone beyond the setting sun.</p>
