Information: Matilda Margaret Battrell, 88, Cottageville, died at her home yesterday morning following a long illness. She was born Oct. 17, 1876 in Mason County, a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Coffin and was a member of the Fostoria Methodist Church, near Evans. She is survived by one son, Delbert Battrell of Ripley; three daughters, Goldie Battrell and Mrs. Nora Hunt, both of Cottageville and Mrs. Edna Knapp of Columbus, O.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, with the Rev. Basil Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery.
