  <p>Information: Jennie Hartley Kapp was born November 21, 1893 at Cottageville and departed this life December 6, 1969 at the age of 76 years and 15 days.  She was the daughter of Thomas T. Hartley and Victoria Taylor Hartley.  She was united in marriage to John A. Kapp on June 26, 1915 at the Rockcastle U. B. Church by the Rev. William Haught.  To this union was born four children.  One daughter died in infancy.  Surviving are the husband, John A. Kapp; sons, J. Gory of Pt. Pleasant, Olin of Akron; daughter, Mrs. Sybil Rich of Evans; brothers, Vitus Hartley of Pt. Pleasant, Dawson of Boomer; one sister, Mrs. Arla Smathers of Canton, N. C.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at the Creston United Methodist Church with Rev. Wilbert Stinespring officiating, with Casto Funeral Home in charge.  Mrs. Kapp was a faithful wife, a kind and loving mother, and a good neighbor.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.  She expressed her faith in the master and lived for him daily.</p>
