  <p>Information: Mrs. Mary Ellen Jordan, 84, of Bridgeport, died on Monday, November 8, 2008, at The Heritage.  She was born September 15, 1924, in Charleston and was the daughter of the late Denver and Nancy Hatcher Koontz.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Jordan.  Mrs. Jordan is survived by a son, David G. Jordan and his wife, Nada, of Waynesboro, PA; a grandson, Joshua David Jordan and his wife, Jennifer, of St. Sugustine, FL; a sister, Margaret Teel of Charleston; and a brother, Arnold Koontz of Charleston.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rex and Denver Koontz.  She was a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church.  She was a Past Worthy Matron of Rachel Chapter 47 Order of the Eastern Star.  Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6, at the West Virginia Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.  The funeral service will be celebrated in the chapel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Steven E.
