  <p>Information: Leslie C. ""Jack"" Jordan, died Sunday, October 13, 2002, at Charleston General Hospital following a sudden illness.  He was born September 1, 1921, at Spencer, a son of the late Homer C. and Orpha Spencer Jordan. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. a 32nd Degree Mason and a 50-year member of the Moriah Lodge, Spencer, and a Beni Kedem Shriner.  He retired from Union Carbide at Institute and was a former employee of Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer.  He was also a former Councilman for the City of Spencer.  He is the loving husband of Georgia Connolly Jordan and father of two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Jordan Robinson and husband Dorsey of St. Albans and Patricia Jordan Taylor and husband James of Cottageville; two grandchildren, Jody Rettig and husband Jim of Cumming GA, and Jordan Jay Mitchell and wife Kim of Covington GA; a step-grandson, Lonnie Robinson of St. Albans; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Joseph Mitchell and Jacob Langley Mitchell; sisters, Lelia Maxwell of Ravenswood and Oneida Hess of Logan; brothers, Murill West of Ravenswood and Orville West of Stockport OH.  Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, October 16) at 2:00 p.m. at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating.  Burial will take place at the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.</p>
