  <p>Information: J. B. JORDAN, 88, COTTAGEVILLE, DIES - J. B. Jordan, 88, died Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Josephine Juanita) Mattox, at Cottageville.  Mr. Jordan was born April 4, 1875 in Mason county, the son of the late James Jordan and Nancy Layton Jordan.  He was employed by the Viscose Corporation of Parkersburg for 18 years, and retired in 1945.  He attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle on Cottageville Route 1 (Chestnut Ridge).  Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Belle Jordan, who died in 1930 and one son and one daughter.  Survivors include:  three sons, Oscar B. and Clyde Jordan, both of Cottageville and Lester Jordan of Parkersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Lora Jackson and Mrs. Ruth Wilson of Belpre, O., and Mrs. Mattox, with whom he made his home; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Saturday at the Bethel EUB church on the Leon-Baden Road and burial was in the church cemetery.</p>
