  <p>Information: Mrs. Emily Jordan departed this life Saturday morning at 4 o&#39;clock, January 24, 1942, aged 86 years, after a year&#39;s illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.B.White.  She was better known to her many friends as Emily Ann Garnes, the widow of J.N. Garnes.  The father of her eleven children preceded her in death several years ago.  Also six children in infancy.  Five still living are three sons, Early C. and E.O. Garnes of Charleston; C.T. Garnes, of Dunbar; two daughters, Mrs. Erna Morrison of Huntinton and Mrs. Alberta White of Kenna. Nineteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one half-brother, Frank Garnes and a host of other relatives and friends.
