Information: Delbert Battrell, 63 year old retired Ripley policeman, died suddenly of an apprent heart attack on Tuesday.  He was born at Evans, a son of the late C. H. and Matilda Cossin Battrell.  He served in the Navy in World War II. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Casto Funeral Home.  Rev. Wayne Hinzman will officiate and the burial will be in the Otterbein cemetery.  Survivors are his wife, Julia, and three sisters, Nora Hunt of Cottageville and Edna Knapp and Goldie Battrell, both of Columbus.
