  <p>Information:           Faith Bachtel Abels, 83, of Indiana, Pa., former Parkersburg resident, died Wednesday in Indiana.    Born in Wilding, Jackson County, she was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard M. Bachtel. She lived    most of her life in Parkersburg and was a member of St. Andrew&#39;s United Methodist Church, the    Women&#39;s Bible Class and the Friendship Club of Parkersburg. Surviving are two daughters, Lois Ann    Pike of West Hartford, Conn., and Kathryn Alice Stratton of Indiana, Pa.; two brothers, George Bachtel    of Massillon, Ohio, and Fred Bachtel of Tallmadge, Ohio; two sisters, Vivian Means of Ravenswood,    and Frances Wick of Winfield; four granddaughters, Lucinda Ann Pike of Oregon, Capt. Bonnie Ann    Stratton of Alabama, Laura Alice Pike in New Hampshire and Holly Faith Stratton in Wisconsin. She    was preceded in death by her husband, Elliott Buck Abels. The funeral was Saturday at St. Andrew&#39;s    United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Roth and the Rev. E. Vincent Stratton officiating.    Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Ogdin Funeral Home, Parkersburg, was in charge of    arrangements.     </p>
