  <p>Information: Grova G. Jones passed away Friday, August 16, 2002, at Jackson General Hospital, following a long stay at the Ravenswood Care Center.  She was born February 11, 1912, the third of five children, to Minerva and Willie Shamblem.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, an infant daughter, and her husband of 53 years, Harvey Jones.  Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Hollis Curtis of Virginia Beach VA; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Karen Jones of Washington WV; a granddaughter, Brenda Jones Majeski of Cos Cob CT; and a sister, Vona Crowl of Belle WV.  She was a Past Noble Grand of the Order of Rebekahs, and a retiree of the Food Stores Employee&#39;s Union, having worked over twenty years for the local Pennyfare Market.  Funeral services were held at Roush Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, with Rev. Donald Yeager, pastor of Fairlawn Baptist Church in Parkersburg, officiating.  Burial in the Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
