Information: Evelyn Jones of Charleston WV, passed away February 9, 2015 at home after a courageous fight against cancer. Evelyn was born Ruby Evelyn Moss on June 28, 1940 in Sissonville WV to William Delbert (Webb) and Mamie Ethel Hughart Moss.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son, Marty Ray Painter, stepdaughter, Trilla Ann Wilkinson, and sisters, Delores Comer, Garnet Wright, Emma Lee Reed, and brother, Kenneth Moss.  She was a 1958 graduate of Sissonville High School, Capitol City Business College, and retired from Columbia Natural Resources/NiSource, Inc.  She was a born-again Christian, a member of Fisher Memorial Church, member of the choir and Open Door Sunday School Class.  She also attended North Hills Baptist.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed classic Southern Gospel music, attending gospel sings and services in other churches.     Evelyn is survived by her loving husband, Monroe C. Jones; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Dawn and Henry Riffe of Charleston WV; stepson, Rev. Aaron Jones (Susan) of Kenna WV; grandsons, Andrew Riffe of Charleston WV and Adam Ray Painter of Hurricane WV; step-granddaughter, Jessica Stricklen (Chip) of Charleston WV; step-grandsons, Jamison Wilkinson (Jamie) of Charleston WV, Jeremy Jones (Angela) of Charleston WV, Jonathan Jones (Caitlin) of Charleston WV, Joshua Jones and Jamin Jones of Kenna WV; step-great-grandchildren, Alexis Stricklen, J. R. Stricklen, Brock Stricklen, Lilly Wilkinson and Wylie Wilkinson; step-son-in-law, John (Sue) Wilkinson; brother, Gray Moss (Lois) of New Haven CT; sister, Judy Nelson (Dee) of Sandyville WV; sister-in-law, Ruby Marie Fogarty of St. Albans WV; brother-in-law, Robert Comer of Charleston WV. In celebration of Evelyn's life, a memorial service will be held Sunday, February 15, with visitation at 1:00 pm and memorial service at 2:00 pm at Fisher Memorial Church with Aaron Jones and Mike Harper officiating.  Entombment at the Sanctuary of Faith Mausoleum, Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.  Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.  Special thanks to Palliative Care, Hospice and Hospice Crisis Care.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.
