Information: Jones, Alice Fay                 Funeral services for Alice Fay Jones, 13 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Jones of Sherman, who died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday, were held Saturday afternoon at the Chambers Funeral Home in Ravenswood and the burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  A freshman at Ravenswood High School, she is survived by her parents; three sisters, Charlotte Louise, Jaqueline Sue and Lois Ann Jones; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Jones, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith, all of Sherman.  (Friday, 22 July 1949)   Jones, Alice Faye                 Again the death angel visited our home and took from our midst our darling Alice Faye, eldest daughter of Francis and Lucille Jones.  She was born Nov. 17, 1935, departed this life July 13, 1949 at the age of 13 years, 7 months and 26 days.  She had been ill from birth with a heart ailment.  Her death was sudden.  Funeral services were conducted from the Chambers Funeral Home Saturday with Rev. Kenneth B. Adams of the Lynn Street Church of Christ in Parkersburg officiating, and burial was in the Ravenswood cemetery.  Surviving are the parents and three sisters, Charlotte Louree, Lois Amy and Jacqueline Sue; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Jones and a host of other relatives.  An infant sister, Connie Lou, preceded her in death in 1943.  (Friday, 29 July 1949)  Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection
