  <p>Information: G.W. Johnston, son of Leroy and S.A. Johnston, was born December 16, 1886, departed this life December 20, 1921, aged 35 years and 4 days.  He was hurried to the hospital at Spencer, only living 7 hours after an operation for appendicitis.  He leaves behind to mourn their loss, a wife, 4 small children, father and mother, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and a host of relatives and friends.  He obeyed the ""Gospel of Christ"" 16 years ago and we have evidence to believe that he went to his home, where the many mansions are prepared.  The writer spoke words of comfort based on the 14th chapter of Revelation, 13th verse, and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Flat Woods, Jackson County, near the meeting place of the Church of Christ.
