Information:               William Pearl JOHNSON, 62 year old farmer of near Wilding, was found dead in his farm home there last Friday about noon, a home in which the aged bachelor had lived by himself for a number of years.  He was found by a relative, Clark CARMICHAEL, who knew that the man had not been feeling well the day before.  He had died in his chair and it was estimated he had been dead something like eight hours when found.               The funeral service was held from the Chambers Funeral Home in Ravenswood Sunday afternoon with the Rev. W. D. WINTERS of the Methodist Church in charge and burial was in the Silverton Cemetery.  His only survivors include a large number of cousins, friends of the family said.  (from the Betty Kessel McIntyre Obituary Collection)
