Information: Hazel A. Johnson, 87, of Cottageville, passed away March 22, 2009, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio, following an extended illness.  She was born July 28, 1921, in Millwood, a daughter of the late Roy and Lillie Nichols Sayre.  Hazel was a homemaker, a longtime member of the Otterbein Cemetery Association, and a 50-plus year member of Chapter No. 16, Order of Eastern Star, Cottageville.       Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bernard L. Johnson; daughter, Karen Jones and her husband, Paul, of Washington; granddaughter and her husband, Brenda and Mike Majeski of Coscob, Conn.; and great-grandson, Zachary Majeski.  A service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre and the Rev. Todd Hill officiating.  Burial will follow at the Otterbein Cemetery, Evans.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with an Eastern Star service at 7:45 p.m.  Online condolences may be sent to castofuneralhome@citynet.net.
