  <p>Information: Mrs. Edith Smith Johns, 70, of Marietta, Ga., formerly of Charleston, died Tuesday, May 26, 1987, at home after a short illness.  She was a native of Jackson County, and had lived most of her life in Charleston before moving to Marietta, Ga. 10 years ago.  Surviving:  sons, Darius E. and Daniel W., both of Marietta, D. D. of Winfield; sisters, Mrs. Edna Lanham and Mrs. Velma Reynolds, both of Kenna, Mrs. Glada Chandler of Charleston; brothers, the Rev. Guy Smith of Charleston, the Rev. Glen Smith of Ripley; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.  Service was Thursday in Mayes Ward Funeral Home, Marietta, Ga. with the Rev. Lewis Coleman officiating.  Entombment was in Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta, Ga.</p>
