  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Maple N. Jewell, 82, of Ripley, died April 7, 1992, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late James E. and Lola Matheney Hodge.  She was a member of the Centennial Community Church.  She is survived by three sons, James A. Jewell and William D. Jewell, both of Ripley, and Frederick G. Jewell of Ravenswood; two daughters, Lola Belle Randolph of Murraysville and Marie DeLong of Ravenswood; two brothers, Yale Hogue and Victor Hogue, both of Akron; one sister, Iris Kaufman of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jewell; and one grandson.  Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. James E. Cunningham officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.</p>
