Information:                   Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Chambers Funeral Home in Ravenswood for Mrs. Sallie Catherine Jarrett, 70, widow of the late Alonzo Jarrett.  She died in a Parkersburg hospital on Saturday.  The Rev. W. D. Winters of the Walton Memorial Methodist Church officiated and the burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  She was born April 13, 1879, a daughter of the late James and Ellen Van Horn Black.  Survivors include a step-son, Russell Jarrett of Columbus, Ohio, and three cousins, Preston B. Van Horn of Ripley, G. C. Van Hon of Cleveland, and Albert Batey of Columbus, Ohio.  (From the obituary collection of Betty Kessel McIntyre)
