  <p>Information: Jess Othel Jarrett, 77, of Sherman, died Friday at his residence, following a short illness.  Born in Sherman, a son of the late Isaiah and Mary Orem Jarrett, he was a member of Little Sandy United Methodist Church, Sherman.  He was a retired school teacher, having taught in Jackson county for 34 years.  Survivors include his wife, Mary McMurray Jarrett; two sons, Howard of Sherman and Paul of Ravenswood; one brother, Denzel of Sherman; two sisters, Lacie Lee of Ravenswood and Hazel Davidson of Akron, O.; and nine grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chambers Funeral Home with the Rev. William Matics officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
