  <p>Information: Francis E. Jarrett, Jr. of Ripley, died Saturday, at home.  He was born in Kenova, a son of Francis and Geneva Guthrie Jarrett.  He was a graduate of Marshall University.  He was a former Ripley teacher and a former Kaiser Aluminum employee.  He was retired from Kennedy Space Center, where he was employed as an archivist and historian.  He was a member of St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church and a World War II veteran.  He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, John of Melbourne, Fla.; two daughters, Jane West of Cocoa, Fla., Kathryn Kidd of Ripley; one sister, Pauline Kimberling of Huntington and three grandsons.  A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church in Ripley with the Rev. Elizabeth Walker officiating.  Vail Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church, in care of Betty Walker or to the American Cancer Society in care of Alice Shinn, 1 Highlawn Heights, Ripley.</p>
