Information: Martha Odessa Jackson, 73, Ripley, died Thursday at the Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, after a short illness.  She was a daughter of the late A. D. Thomas and Viola Westfall Thomas.  She was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle and a volunteer at the Jackson General Hospital.  She is survived by her husband, Roy S. Jackson; a son, Archie of Elyria, Ohio; five daughters, Mrs. Lorene Parsons of Sandyville, Mrs. Donna Fields of Statts Mill, Mrs. Peggy Jewell of Ravenswood, Mrs. Elaine Harper of Charleston, and Mrs. Evelyn Raines of Kenna; a brother, Clyde Thomas in Ohio; six sisters, Mrs. Ina Price of Cross Lanes, Mrs. Nancy Whited and Mrs. Freda Parsons, both of Chalreston, Mrs. Lelia Rhodes of Ripley, Mrs. Audra Jones of Elyria and Mrs. Rusha Jones of Grafton; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Services were conducted Sunday at the Ripley Tabernacle with the Rev. D. C. Guthrie and the Rev. Orland Raynolds officiating.  Burial was in the Plainview Cemetery at Kenna.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.
