Information: Mrs. Minerva Kessel Irwin, of Imogene, Iowa, 52-year old native of Ripley, was dead on arrival at an Omaha, Nebraska hospital early Sunday morning.  She and her husband had their 26th wedding anniversary on Saturday.  Survivors include the husband, Elmer Irwin; two sons, James Edward at home and Oren Leon in Vietnam; two daughters, Mrs. Saundra Stogill of Imogene, Iowa, and Shelia at home; her mother, Belva Bonnett Kessel of Ripley; two brothers, Kay of Ripley and Orville of Newport, KY; and four sisters, Paulita Wilkinson of Big Tyler Mountain, Gladys E. Kessel of Dunbar, Mrs. Juanita Garber of Ripley and Mrs. Grace Hanning of Given.  Six grandchildren also survive.  Funeral services are to be held in Shenendoah, Iowa on Wednesday and burial at Athelston, Iowa.  Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanning of Given, Mrs. Juanita Garber, Mrs. Paulita Wilkinson and Gladys Kessel left Monday to attend the funeral.
