Information: Hickory Clay Hutchinson of Meadowdale Farm, Sandyville died at his home after a short illness. Services conducted at Meadowdale Baptist Church, Jackson County and burial in Meadowdale Cemetery.  He was born in Jackson County, was a 1921 graduate of West Virginia University, a World War I veteran, former teacher at Gilmore High School, at Sandyville, member of Ables-Rayburn Post 118 of the American Legion at Ravenswood, was a member of Jackson County Historical Society, was formerly employed by the West Virginia Dept. of Agriculture, was owner and operator of Meadowdale Farm and attended Meadowdale Baptist Church.  Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Hutchinson; one daughter, Edith Gastin of Rolling Hills; one sister, Esther Daniell of Parkersburg; and four grandchildren.  In lieu of lowers, donations may be make to Meadowdale Baptist Church.
