  <p>Information: Virgil Ted Hupp, 66, of Ravenswood, died Monday after an extended illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Perry and Pearl Barnhart Hupp.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood.  He was a retired coach, teacher and dean of boys at Ravenswood High School with 37 1/2 years in Jackson County.  He was also a member of the U. S. Armed Forces.  He is survived by his wife, Ethel Boggess Hupp of Ravenswood; two daughters, Donna Baker of Baltimore, MD and Robin Gorrell of Ravenswood; two sons, Terry Hupp of Mason and Andy Hupp of Ravenswood; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by three brothers.  Services will be today at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood with the Rev. Samuel E. Starling, Jr. officiating.  Burial will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.</p>
