  <p>Information: .....He was born in Silverton Dec. 1, 1921, the son of Roy E. and Mary Ann Coleman Hunter.  He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.  He served with the U. S. Navy.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Jean Hunter; two sons, Wilburn Roy Hunter of Clinton, Pa., Wayne Bryan Hunter of Sandyville; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Jean Parker of Mt Rainier, Md., Mrs. Linda Kay Riggs of Sandyville, Mrs. Darnell N. Britton of Tuscola, Texas; one brother, the Rev. Jack Hunter of Cadiz, South Carolina; one sister, Esther Wilcox of Sandyville; 12 living grandchildren and one deceased grandchild. Service was held Dec. 6 at Vail Funeral Home in Ripley with burial in Independence Cemetery.  The Rev. Lawrence Conger, Jr. officiated.</p>
