Information: Funeral services were held for Walter Hunt, 74, of Evans, who died in Jackson General Hospital following a brief illness.  Burial was in Otterbein Cemetery.  Born in Mason County, he was a son of the late William R. and Rhoda Jane Moore Hunt.  A retired farmer and veteran of World War I, he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 107, Ripley.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eulah Sayre Hunt; four sons, Carl Hunt of Evans, Robert Hunt of Columbus, Ohio, Clair Fisher Hunt of Ripley, and Camden Hunt of Parkersburg; four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Morrison of Thornville, Ohio, Mrs. Bernice Shinn of McCutcheionville, Ohio, Mrs. Nadi Tucker of Miami, Fla., and Garnet Hunt of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Anthony and Hershel Hunt both of Cottageville; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Croy and May Hunt, both of Charleston; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
