Information: Verna Hunt was born June 21, 1866 and departed this life February 12, 1953, age 87 years, 7 months and 22 days.  She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Campbell Hunt.  She was united in marriage to C. F. Hunt, October 15, 1885, and to this union five children were born, all deceased.  Her husband, one sister and two brothers also preceded her in death.  She leaves to mourn their loss, one half-sister, Elley Oldham of Evans, W. Va., and a host of relatives and friends.  She was converted and joined the U. B. Church early in life and remained a faithful and devoted Christian until death.  Funeral services were conducted from the Antioch E.U.B. Church with the Rev. I. J. McCollum and Rev. Thompson officiating.  Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Vail Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Antioch cemetery.
