Information: Nora Francis Battrell Hunt, 99, of Cross Lanes, departed this life September 29, 2006, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.  She was born September 18, 1907, on Foster Ridge, Jackson County, a daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Cossin Battrell.  She was a homemaker and a former one room schoolhouse teacher for the Foster Ridge community, and a Protestant by faith.      Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith (JoAnn) and Dwight (Linda), both of Cross Lanes; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia (Tom) Jones of Charleston and Eileen Comstock of Cross Lanes.  She is also survived by her life-long friend, Hazel Sayre.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Hunt; brothers, Luther and Delbert Battrell; and sisters, Goldie Battrell and Edna Knapp.      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2006, at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating.  Burial will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery, Evans.  Visitation is from 4 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  She will be sadly missed by the friends and crew of the Miss Sterling.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Dr., Charleston WV 25311
