Information: Lawrence E. (Gene) Hunt, 38, of Weston, formerly of Cottageville, died in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Weston.  He was born in Ripley, a son of Ruby Lea Hunt of Cottageville and the late Robert E. Hunt.  He was an electronics technician and managed Lloyd's Electronics Inc. of Weston.  He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.  Surviving are his wife, Karen Brown Hunt; two sons, Dana Hunt at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, and Robert Dayton Hunt, at home; four daughters, Deena Jo, Lisa Nicole, Margaret Leah and Rebecca Ann Hunt , all at home; a sister, Joyce Ann Creel of Cottageville; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Hunt of Cottageville; two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a grandson.  Burial was in the Jackson County Memory Gardens at Cottageville.
