Information: Mrs. Mary Parsons Hughes, 64-year old retired school teacher of Ripley, was dead on arrival at Charleston General Hospital.  She became violently ill on a Greyhound bus on which she was traveling from Florida to Ripley to spend the holidays.  She asked the driver to notify her brother, Frank McGrew of Charleston, to have an ambulance awaiting when the bus arrived there which he did, but she was dead on arrival at the hospital.  She had been in Cocoa Beach,.....there the obituary ends/was cut off
