  <p>Information: Mrs. Edith Coe Hughes, 70, of Ripley, died Sunday in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio.  She was born in Jackson County, May 11, 1906, daughter of the late George W. and Allie Lloyd Coe.  She was a member of Flatwoods United Methodist Church, Flatwoods, and was a Sunday School teacher.  She was a teacher for Jackson and Kanawha counties.  Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip S. Hughes in 1974.  Surviving:  daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Robinson and Mrs. Aloise Bosworth, both of Ripley; son, Howard D. Hughes of Ripley; three grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Flatwoods United Methodist Church, Flatwoods, with the Rev. Armor Sayre and the Rev. Holly O&#39;Brien officiating.  Burial will be in Ravenswood cemetery, Ravenswood.</p>
