  <p>Information: Clarence Burton Hughes, 71, of Ashley, OH, formerly of Cottageville, died Wednesday in Veterans Administration Medical Center, Chillicothe, OH, following an apparent heart attack.  He was born in Cottageville, a son of the late Oris G. and Hattie L. Canter Hughes.  He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the VFW.  He attended the Hopewell Baptist Church and was a construction worker.  He is survived by two sons, Oris Hughes of Ashley and Clarence Hughes of Cottageville; four sisters, Virginia Rollins of Cottageville, Carmen Marshall of Ripley, Wyoma Icenhower of Letart, and Verna Estep of Mason, and 13 grandchildren.  Services were to be at 2 p.m. today (Saturday) at the Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, with the Rev. James Pinkerton officiating.  Burial was to be in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.</p>
