Information: Mrs. Georgia Baker Hudson, 87, of 804 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, formerly of Jackson County, died at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg, after an extended illness. She was born in Reedy, a daughter of John and Mary McMurray Baker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood, and of the Senior Citizens. She was retired as a restaurant cook in Jackson County. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Caplinger of Parkersburg, Mrs. Eulah Baumoel of Roanoke, VA., Mrs. Virginia Lytton of Winfield, and Mrs. Vera Kelbaugh of Ravenswood; two sons, Carl Johnson of Nitro, and Clarence Johnson of Waterford, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Carpenter and Mrs. Bessie Coen, both of Vienna, and Mrs. Beryl Robinson of Belpre; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Johnson and her second husband, Charlie Hudson. Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church, or to the Golden Hour Sunday School Class.
