Information: RIPLEY - Patricia Louise Blackshire Hudnall, 50, of Ripley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 31, 2006, after a brief illness. She was born December 13, 1956, a daughter of Carl and Martha Blackshire of Ripley. Patricia was raised in Dry Branch, West Virginia, and resided in Ripley for the last few years. She was a dedicated and loving educator for special needs students at Sharon Dawes and Sissonville Elementary. She was a graduate of Marshall University with a Master's Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. She was involved in many special educational projects at both schools. She spent her life as a giver, not a taker. She was a devoted Christian. She had an especially large place in her heart for children, especially those less fortunate. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her including her family, friends, colleagues and students. Even though we are saddened, the angels in Heaven are rejoicing. In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Tim Hudnall of Dry Branch; one sister, Tina Stanley and husband Gary of Raiford, Florida; two brothers, Mike Blackshire and wife Carol of Ripley and David Blackshire and wife Mabel of Miami, Florida; nieces and nephews, Michael Stanley of New Cumberland PA, Chanda Stanley of Gainesville FL, Marcella Potter of Ripley, Mary Jo Sams of Ripley, David Martin of Ripley, Cynthia Wilbourn of Huntsville AL, Stephen Sites of Kanawha City, Shane Hudnall of Kanawha City, Jennifer Hudnall of MI, and Robert Tyler Blackshire of Miami FL; great nieces and nephews include, Alixandra and Preston Potter, Ryan Martin, Katelyn and Christopher Jordan, David Martin II, Iain Stanley, Derek Sullivan, Cassie Schumann, Bradley Wilbourn and Courtney Hughes. Services will be held Friday, January 5, 2007, at 1 pm at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, with the Rev. Harry Crowder officiating. Burial will follow in the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call today, January 4, 2007, from 3-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made payable to the Future P.L.B.H.
