Information: James S. Hudkins, 66, died at his home on Bedford St., Ravenswood, of an apparent heart attack.  Born in Roane County, he was the son of the late Clint and Leah Fletcher Hudkins.  He was a deacon and head usher of the First Baptist Church in Ravenswood, past president of the Ravenswood Lions Club, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and had 33 years of civil service, retiring as lock master of Lock 22 at Ravenswood.  He is survived by his wife, Eunice Gandee Hudkins; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Krafchik of Oxen Hill, Md.; a son, James Lee of Florence, Ala.; and three grandchildren.  Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
