  <p>Information: Edyth M. Howes of Parkersburg died Aug. 12, 1988 at Parkview Healthcare Center.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Kirby S. and Anna Beymer Currey.  She was a member of the Stout Memorial United Methodist Church and a former cook with Wood County Schools.  She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clark L. Howes; one daughter, Margaret Ann Black of North Hills, Parkersburg; one sister, Mrs. Nelson (Doris) Critchfield of Ravenswood; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.  Services were Monday at Vaughan Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Lejuene Lewis officiating.  Burial was in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.</p>
