Information: FIRST FATALITY (continued from Page 1--first part missing) Patrolman Clarence Mullen, the accident occurred about 10:35 p.m. Wednesday.  Howell was taken to Jackson General Hospital in a Chambers Funeral Home ambulance from Ravenswood and died of his injuries about 4 a.m. Thursday. Mrs. Teets was said driving west in a 1966 Chevrolet and Burns was traveling east in a 1969 Chevrolet when the latter car went out of control and hit the car driven by Mrs. Teets headon.  Burns has been charged in Judge David R. Karr's Municipal Court in Ravenswood with negligent homicide. Mr. Howell was born in Jackson county, a son of J. M. and Mamie Tumlin Howell.  He was a merchant.  Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Ann Dernberger Howell; two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Howell, Vienna, and Mrs. Anna Stevens, Parkersburg; two brothers, John and Carl, both of Ravenswood, and one niece, Mrs. Juanita Bell, Washington, WVa.  Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chambers Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
