  <p>Information: COTTAGEVILLE - Ricky James Houchen, 54, of Cottageville, WV, departed this life August 7, 2008, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident at Cottageville.  He was born June 20, 1954 in Charleston WV, a son of Jeanette Ruth (Sayre) Houchen of Cottageville and the late Charles Ray Houchen.  He was a licensed crane operator and member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Union Local #132, Charleston.  He was also a truck driver and was a former member of the United States Army Reserves.         In addition to his mother, other survivors include his wife of 28 years, Karen Lorraine (Woodyard) Houchen; daughters, Lynsie Houchen of Sandyville, Emily Tippens of Ripley and Amy Kelly of Charleston; brothers, Tracy Houchen and Mitch Houchen, both of Cottageville; and grandchildren, Emma Jo Kelly and Nathan Thomas Kelly.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Houchen.  Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel in Evans WV with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial followed in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. </p>
