  <p>Information: Gilford (Duke) Houchen, 62, Belpre, Ohio, died at his residence Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1989.  He was born in Ripley, a son of Vincent and Rose Connor Houchen.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and The Rocky Mountain Masonic Lodge No. 84 in Cheyenne, Wyo.  He was retired from the Air Force at Myrtle Beach after 20 years&#39; service.  He is survivied by two brothers, Chester W. Houchen of Akron and George E. Houchen of Sandyville, W. Va.; and one sister, Opal Clark, with whom he made his home.  Masonic services were held Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Swartz officiating.  Burial was in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.</p>
